Expertise Details

PEI has completed approximately 900 projects during the last 6 years, ranging from one-day field service emergency response to complete plant-wide control systems. PEI serves over 100 clients, completes roughly 200 projects each year, and has multi-million dollar revenues each year.

PEI’s goal for our control system upgrade projects is not merely a functional system, but rather to engineer a reliable, efficient system easy to operate and maintain for years to come. PEI believes attention to detail, a thorough understanding of the system, the combined integrity of its staff and pride in a job well done supports this goal.

The primary focus is on the quality of our people and our work. All PEI engineers are skilled in the areas of project scope development, operator interface and control system design, instrumentation specification, controls system programming, system integration, testing, start up, and troubleshooting. In addition to these common skills, each member has specific talents and expertise to meet the level of complexity and project schedules. PEI uses a team approach to our projects and within our company. PEI involves multiple engineers in each large project, which allows providing a broader base of support for our clients, while enabling continuous cross-training.

PEI is very proud to have a history of successfully completed projects that are on-time and on-budget. This includes many projects that had to be completed while maintaining plant production, or with a minimum of equipment downtime. We stake our reputation on every project and this is the foundation for our success. The bulk of our business comes from repeat clients and word-of-mouth referrals.
