On January 14, 2009 the Oregon Military Department of the Joint Force Headquarters Oregon National Guard Air Component announced that Portland Engineering, Inc. was selected as the Employer of the Year 2008. On March 7, 2009 the Embassy Suites in Portland hosted this Awards Ceremony.
The Nomination for Award sited Jeff Bruce’s “unwavering support” in his role as President in the employ of 1Lt Joshua L. Downs, while Josh served for the 173rd Fighter Wing Deputy Base Civil Engineer.
The Central Point office continues to work with a large client base of over a dozen municipal water and wastewater facilities. 1Lt Downs’ lead engineering has contributed greatly to Portland Engineering’s mission critical construction projects for the Southern Oregon office.
